Story Retelling Using Creative Dramatics

Doing things in the proper sequence is the focus of a solid language arts activity. In it, pupils discuss the importance of doing things in the right order. Then, they pair off and read a short story together. They must retell the story to each other while making sure to speak in complete sentences, and keeping the main events of the story in the proper sequence. A rubric that each child fills out is embedded at the end of the plan.
