States of Water

Young scholars investigate the 3 states of matter. In this physical science "matter" instructional activity, students observe and participate in a number of demonstrations involving melting and freezing water. Young scholars observe the effect heat has on changing the state of matter. Students follow the steps of the scientific method as they explore solids, liquids, and gases. Worksheets written in English and French are included.
