Simple to Complex Sentences

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Simple to Complex Sentences activity also includes:
  • Game
  • Join to access all included materials

Such a creative game idea, this activity might actually make grammar fun! Learners play a modified game of connect-four by identifying the grammatical name for different words and phrases and then working them into simple sentences to make more complex sentences. With each turn, players review grammar terms and use this information in context. The first player to complete these activities for four terms in a row wins! A complicated game to explain, but definitely worth a look.
