Students examine their environment. In this carbon footprint instructional activity, students look at how he/she impacts their environment with the waste they create and the energy they use. As a class they read an article and listen to podcasts on how to reduce your carbon footprint; at home they are directed to figure out their carbon foot print with a parent using an online assessment.
