Instructional Ideas

  • Use after your lesson on the /th/ sound, or when focusing on frequent sight words
  • Add the sight words from each worksheet onto a word wall or collection of mastered sight words
  • Have kids locate the words in other texts, such as short stories or posted around the room
  • Use in a language arts center with small groups

Pros

  • Comes with 12 different versions of the worksheet, each with different sight words to learn and review

Cons

  • Doesn't accurately assess how well kids can identify sight words, as they could just match the words in the bank to the words at the top of the page without recognizing them
  • Only provides two activities to review sight words (printing and identifying)
