Instructional Ideas

  • Great for a focus on Earth day or environmentalism
  • Have young scientists conduct the experiments in small groups in stations around your class, or have them work on them at home and then report their findings
Classroom Considerations

  • Contains some spelling and grammar errors
  • There are three lessons for each grade level (K-3, 4-6, 7-9); you could make them more or less complex based on the needs of your learners

  • Lessons include some math elements as well as scientific concepts
  • Experiments are simple and appealing to learners of all reading levels

  • Does not provide graphic organizers or lab sheets for any of the experiments
