Young scholars examine products that are petroleum based. In this petroleum product instructional activity, students examine a display of petroleum based  products. They discuss the products that are made from crude oil and conduct an experiment that simulates the process by using milk as a model for the crude oil. They work in groups to make lists of the petroleum base products, appliances, and conveniences they use on a daily basis.
