Poetry Coffeehouse

This resource contains a vague plan for a poetry unit conducted at an elementary school during the month of February. Although this plan does not included detailed instructional strategies, this does outline a basic unit, some creative ways for learners to explore and present poetry, and numerous ideas for great Febuary-themed poems to use. As a culminating activity, take your class to a local coffeehouse so they can present their work in an authentic setting!
