Young scholars research the ancient Olympic Games. In this Olympic Games lesson, students discuss Pierre de Coubertin, Greek culture, and ancient Olympia. Young scholars complete two readings. Students write an essay about the spirit of Olympism, create a timeline that traces Olympic events from the past to present including future predictions, and create a tool for an Olympic game. Young scholars write the rules to game and describe the tool.
