"There's a special place in hell for women who don't help each other." Listen as former U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright discusses her position as United States ambassador to the United Nations in the Gulf War, and makes a strong case for more women in positions of power around the world. Albright emphasizes a central role for women's issues in American foreign policy, arguing that female leadership is the key to greater economic prosperity. This interview would well support a unit on feminism, foreign diplomacy, or American politics, and you can even flip the video to add your own assessment questions that best fit the needs of your class.
