What ancient Roman objects perform the same tasks as modern objects? In this learning exercise, students are asked to identify 5 illustrations of Roman objects. Kids are then prompted to compare these objects with the functions of 5 modern objects. The end of the learning exercise invites students to draw the modern equivalents. This lesson would be a great supplement a lesson about Roman history, or a story set in ancient Rome.
