Even though this online current events quiz is based on news from September 2011, it offers a chance for scholars to sharpen their media literacy skills and is available on a daily basis on this site. Scholars answer five multiple-choice questions, submitting answers one at a time. They get feedback for a question before moving on to the next. The quizzes cover a variety of hard news topics; this one includes protests in Yemen, the Republican candidate race, financial crisis in Greece, and the British olympic soccer team.
