This handbook is intended to be used before and after an aquarium visit but can be used on its own. It has information about cephalopods, with a focus on the squid. Students learn about squid anatomy and physiology, survival adaptations, diet, predators, and reproduction. There are two activities. The first is a clam dissection, as clams are related to squid and are easy to find, along with a mollusk scavenger hunt. The second activity is a game of squid jeopardy.
