A basic activity on personal narrative writing is here for you. In it, learners are asked to imagine they're going to share an experience of their own with someone who did not participate in that experience. They verbally tell the story to one of their peers, then come back together and share how they knew the proper way to sequence the story, what words indicated who was telling the story, and which words made the story more interesting. A list is created, then pupils draw from that list to sit down and write the story on paper.
