In two groups, young scholars research the history and current building of clipper ships. For this inquiry lesson, students present information and compare and contrast the technological revolution with the development of clipper ships. Young scholars design project's depicting voyages. Students create proposals to donors to provide funding for the Shining Sea Foundation to maintain a full scale American clipper Ship.
