In this number look-alike learning exercise, 2nd graders look at the numbers in 2 stars, determine how they are alike and write another number in the middle that belongs to each group of numbers. Students make and fill in 2 additional stars using the numbers given and then explain how the numbers they chose to go in each star were alike.
