Students celebrate different field events that are celebrated in South Carolina. For the Freedom Weekend Aloft activity students line up in two teams with the first person from each team standing inside a starting hoop. The first two students in line are given a balloon. The students place the balloon between their knees. On the signal to begin, the students run with the balloon between their knees to the chair, place their balloon on the chair, sit on the balloon and pop it.
