As learners become familiar with single-digit numbers, give them this fun set of activities focused on the number three. Incorporate language arts as they trace the word form and then write it once on their own. Next, counters examine sets of objects (Goldilocks and the Three Bears themed) to circle those with three. They do a similar exercise, but circle either 1, 2, or 3 to indicate how many they see. There is a number sequence from 0-10 written below that is missing the 3, giving pupils a chance to practice writing this numeral. There aren't any other places for them to do this, so consider asking them to print the number several times on their paper.
