A great way to begin a discussion of leadership is to have learners reflect on their own experiences with leadership. A one-page worksheet asks individuals to list what they believe are the top characteristics, qualities, and beliefs of leaders. For each of the three categories, they respond to four questions that ask them to rate themselves in that category, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and suggest one thing they could do to improve in that area.
