Label the Pictures (Above, Behind, Below, Beside, In Front of)

A cross-curricular approach to prepositions includes a geometry aspect as learners label eight pictures of shapes to indicate their positioning. Each picture has two shapes, some with arrows to show which shape's location scholars are recording. For example, one picture shows two triangles with an arrow pointing to the one below. In the space to the right, learners would write below.  To give a geometry focus, have them write a more complete sentence like, "The triangle is below the other triangle."
