Khan Academy: Chemistry: Other Periodic Table Trends

Curated by ACT

A video lecture discussing the trends on the periodic table dealing with ionization energy, electronegativity, metallic nature, and atomic radius size. The video shows how electronegativity increases to the top right of the periodic table, metallic nature increases to the bottom left of the table, and within a period the more protons the smaller the atom and in a group the higher the number the larger the atom. In the beginning of the video, there is also a review of ionization energy periodic trends. [15:39]
