Students explore the function of various road signs and international symbols.  In this sign recognition lesson plan, students construct road signs with blank paper, markers, and scissors.  Students make 2 or 3 different signs and explain their meaning, for example a stop sign is red, has a specific shape, and has this meaning.  Students share their signs with the class.
