Learners are reintroduced to initial sounds and play a picture card game to build accuracy. In this initial sound lesson, students place the picture cards face down and organize the picture cards into an even number of rows and columns and take turns flipping over two cards at a time. Learners then identify the corresponding initial sounds of the picture cards.
