Seventh graders research how the Industrial Revolution impacted people. In this Industrial Revolution activity, 7th graders examine how the change from shop or cottage industry to the factory affected people, how the railroad affected individuals, and how some inventions change lives. Students construct a rifle with paper, read individual accounts during the Era, study a railroad map, and watch clips from Seabiscuit to learn about the inventions of the period.
