Young scholars explore the industrial engineering process used to make everyday materials. For this chemistry and environmental lesson plan, students learn about how different materials are made and learn about different types of polymers used in our society today. By the end of the lesson young scholars should be able to know what a polymer is and know the difference  in extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding.
