In the Right Order

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

What comes first? Youngsters practice with sequence of events using a visual learning exercise, which has them examine three images to put things in order. For the first, they check off what comes before. For the next one, they check what comes after. Finally, learners look at a picture of three finishers in a race, labeling them 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Encourage them to also pair images with sentences. For example, "She brushes her teeth before she goes to bed."
