In this DNA activity, students examine a sequence of DNA of a fictitious species. They determine the traits the species has given amino acids sequences and chart of traits that each amino acid sequence indicates. Students transcribe and translate the message using mRNA and tRNA to determine the traits. Students draw a picture of the species once they identify the traits.
