Hard Times, Soft Sell

Learners analyze art to determine themes for the Great Depression Era. In this Great Depression lesson, students identify themes for the era and research evidence for the themes to present to the class. Learners interview family members who lived during this time and peer edit their writing. Student use the oral histories and research to create a group or class multimedia project on the Depression era.
