Instructional Ideas
  • Randomly assign an emotion to each participant, after they've drawn their monster face, challenge the class to guess the emotion by looking at its features
  • Copy cards onto cardstock, then laminate them, direct pupils to draw using a dry-erase marker for easy cleaning and continued use
  • As a reference tool while they draw, invite learners to look at a mirror, and make faces to get an up-close look at their expressions
