Gathering Weather Information

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Young scholars watch a video of a recent weather disaster. Using the internet, they work together to examine the weather forecast for tomorrow and next week and discuss why it is important to know the weather. In groups, they use weather maps and predict what the weather might be like in a few days. To end the instructional activity, they graph and analyze their data to identify trends.
