The first thing to note is that this lesson was written for use in a parochial school. Even if you are in a non-religious setting, however, the website exploration of galaxies and the accompanying worksheet make for an engaging interactive lesson on the structure of The Milky Way galaxy and the three types of galaxies. If you are teaching from a creationist perspective, the second half focuses on the uniqueness of Earth and it's fine-tuned suitability for sustaining life. The concepts make this lesson appropriate for upper elementary learners.
