Instructional Ideas

  • Assign these pages for homework when working on the present tense, the imperfect tense, and how to say some in French
  • Pick a few for practice from each group and use the final exercise in each group as an assessment
  • Use these as warm-ups; you can put the page up on the projector screen, and students can write down their sentences on separate sheets of paper

Classroom Considerations

  • Note that the present tense and imperfect tense worksheets all focus on the same list of vocabulary words; all five worksheets that focus on how to say some in French use a list of nouns rather than verbs
  • Learners will need to know how to conjugate verbs into the present and imperfect tenses before completing these exercises

Pros

  • Answers are provided for all 15 worksheets
  • While fairly basic, these worksheets do provide plenty of practice

Cons

  • None
