Students research and develop a presentation about a famous fossil hunter/archaeologist. In this fossil hunter/archaeologist lesson, students listen to a reading of Don Brown's, Rare Treasure: Mary Anning and Her Remarkable Discoveries. They work in small groups to complete Internet research about a famous archaeologist, which they use to write and illustrate a report using software programs. They publish a book of their reports.
