Fordham University: Medieval Sourcebook: Urban's Speech at Council of Clermont

Fordham University provides an account of the speech given by Poper Urban II, in which he called for the First Crusade. Urban gave the speech at the Council of Clermont in 1095. This version of the speech is the recorded memory of the chronicler Fulcher of Chartres.
