Here is a wonderful online language arts activity for your emerging readers. Learners play an interactive game where they look at two characters who are engaging with each other. They must choose the word from a word bank that best describes how the two characters are interacting with each other. There is a very good printable worksheet which can be used as a homework assignment, and many other good teaching ideas embedded in the instructional activity. Very nice!
