Duane Habecker demonstrates how he determines the unit ratio for each stick in a pack of gum. He does do a good job defining what a unit ratio is, but fails to follow through on explaining why the denominator needs to be equal to 1 and does not show the division process. He skips it, telling learners to trust his answer. This may be useful for kids with a grasp on the concept but not for struggling students.
