Exponent example 2

Many young mathematicians get slightly confused when they are introduced to the concept of exponents. This resource will ensure that they never get confused again. Sal explains, quite emphatically, that 6 to the 8th power is NOT the same as 6x8. While this is a great way to introduce exponents, one should fully work the problem 6 to the 8th power in the classroom, to further reinforce the concept.
