After reading Kate Chopin’s The Awakening, class groups research the novel’s settings and the changes that have taken place since 1900. They prepare a PowerPoint presentation and create travel brochures about one of the settings. The class then votes on the most interesting place to visit and is treated to a Cajun feast.
