How nutritious is a tiny lollipop? Pass them out to your class as they view a PowerPoint presentation on the basics of nutrition. The students measure and record their weight and height and then carry out a computer activity using their data. A fill-in-the-blank worksheet is included to help them take notes throughout the presentation and Internet activity. To close the lesson, learners find out how many calories were in the candy that was given to them at the beginning, and they perform the correct amount of exercise to burn off every calorie.
