Exploring Alternatives and Considering Consequences

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Before making important decisions, it's imperative to consider alternatives and the possible consequences of choices. The third lesson in the fallout shelter activity begins by asking participants to consider the possible positive and negative alternate solutions to a problem and the possible unexpected consequence they may face. They then apply what they have learned to the fallout shelter simulation and consider if the six individuals they have chosen would make the best combination of people.
