The sarcophagus of Queen Kawit, who was the wife of King Montuhotep the Second, was one of the most noteworthy in terms of the low-relief sculpture in the Theban court. The outer faces of this limestone sarcophagus are decorated with scenes from daily life, offerings and the afterlife.
