Equal Sums

Make addition a game! As learners become more familiar with addition, they can incorporate this equal sums matching activity into their practice time. The materials (included) are twenty-four cards, each with a simple addition problem (no solution). Partners turn all cards over and try to match cards with identical sums. As they play more, they become quicker with these equations, and can address misconceptions as partners fact-check one another and try to win!
