In this suffragette instructional activity, students are introduced to Elizabeth Cady Stanton and examine her involvement in both the anti-slavery and woman's movement. Learners compare the Declaration of Independence to the Declaration of Sentiments and make a list of the solutions that Stanton thought were needed to give women equal rights.
