Elements, Atoms, Ions, and the Periodic Table

This PowerPoint provides a complete recap of all the information needed for a unit on elements and the periodic table. The seventy slides cover the basic notation of elements, energy levels and ionization energies. The trends in the periodic table are listed but are not explained completely with relation to the electron, nucleus and shell arrangement. These slides could be printed and used as a handout. There are a number of topics that could be developed by the students.
