When dividing by 10 there are a few tricks scholars can use to make their lives a lot easier. Show them the examples to see if they notice a trend before assigning this three-part set of exercises. The first 18 are horizontal division problems, none of which have remainders. The next 16 also don't have remainders and are set up as long division problems. Finally, scholars complete 12 more horizontal division problems using four-digit numbers as the dividend, again with no remainders. This may be a good way to reinforce place value.
