Diversity Among Us

Second graders examine diversity and disabilities that arise in the classroom environment by listening to a read aloud. They watch a slide show that demonstrates differences among students and how to communicate effectively in diverse situations by playing a game. While completing this mini-unit the students watch a PowerPoint presentation and use Kidspiration web based on the student made KWL chart.
