Displacement is a foundational concept for physics pupils. If they are having trouble discerning it from distance, this activity can help clear things up. The first page is essentially a piece of graph paper. It has a compass rose and a home base on it, along with a small data table in the bottom right corner. The following page gives four sets of directions. Learners use a protractor, a pencil, and trigonometry functions to calculate displacement. This is great practice!
