Creating Tessellations

In this creating tessellations activity, 10th graders solve 2 word problems that include creating various tessellations. First, they explore the various techniques used to form tessellations, including triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons. Then, students write a summary and include a sketch indicating the center of rotation by a circle.
