Creating a Classroom Constitution

Youngsters identify and interpret the importance of having rules in order to maintain order at home, at school, in their community, and in the United States. They create a working Classroom Constitution that governs the classroom and supports school rules, policies, and procedures. Then they develop a maximum of six positively stated rules or Classroom Standards. You could easily tailor this to many grade levels.
