Beginning counters will get great practice with this quick activity. In partners or individually, learners turn over a number card onto their "Count On Two More" game board (included). Then, they count out the correct number of units (could be counters, beans, connecting cubes) in the first circle. Scholars then count the number that is 2 more than their starting number and count out that many units for the second circle. Great for introducing the idea that addition is "adding more."
